The Winds of Winter

Snowflakes drift, shimmering
like the stars in the heavens
while polar bears throw snowballs
at each other.

Wolves howl in the cold darkness of the arctic morning as high winds
blow snow into
the rumbling ocean

The playful polar bears are tired
of the winds of winter.
They crawl into frozen caves
to regain their strength.

Cuddling polar bears slowly fall asleep,
drowsy and warm with droopy eyes.

Their snores mingle with
the whistling winds.
